Payments
In Company Settings > Company > Payments, you can control how customers pay for bookings on your Pitchbooking system. This includes enabling subscriptions, offline payments, and connecting card payments through Stripe.
Here’s a guide on what each section does and how to manage it.
1. Self Service Subscriptions
This feature allows your bookers to set up and confirm their own subscription payments using Stripe. It’s handy if you offer recurring or block bookings.
Toggle ON to enable.
When switched on, users can confirm their subscriptions and payment details themselves.
Turning this on makes it live immediately—bookers could start creating subscription bookings right away.
Tip: If you're unsure whether this should be enabled, speak with your Account Manager.
Subscription Instructions
You can customise the message that appears during subscription checkout.
Use this space to explain cancellation policies, pricing updates, or anything important.
If left blank, the default message will show:
Should you wish to cancel a booking on a given week, your company requests that you provide at least 48 hours' notice...
To add your own:
Type your message in the box.
Click Save.
2. Offline Payment
This lets users select an offline payment method at checkout. You can control who sees this option:
ON: Available to all customers. Bookings can be made without paying upfront.
OFF: No offline option—users must pay online.
MEMBERS ONLY: Only shows for pre-approved users you've set up manually.
Important: Offline payments should be used with care. If you’re unsure, your Account Manager can help you decide the best setting for your organisation.
3. Card Payments (Stripe)
This section shows whether your Stripe account is connected.
A connected Stripe account means customers can pay online using debit or credit cards.
Click the Stripe link to access your Stripe dashboard directly.
If Stripe isn’t connected yet, contact your Account Manager to get started.
4. Invoice Instructions
Here you can leave a message for users who might need help with payments or invoices. For further information
Example:If you have any questions please contact us directly.
Edit the message and hit Save when you're done.
Summary
The Payments tab lets you control how your customers pay—whether it’s subscriptions, online card payments, or offline options. Make sure your settings match how you want to manage your bookings and finances.
