Data Sharing Overview

Our Data Sharing functionality makes it simple and secure to share your facility data with trusted third parties. Whether you need to provide booking information to governing bodies, funders, or other partner organisations, you can now do so automatically and reliably from within your Pitchbooking dashboard.

This functionality ensures your booking data can be transmitted in real time to approved consumers, reducing manual work, improving data accuracy, and meeting reporting obligations with ease.

How It Works

To begin sharing data with a registered consumer:

  1. Navigate to Company SettingsData Sharing

  2. Click ‘Link’ beside the relevant organisation

Data Sharing Process

Once configured, your booking data will be shared directly with the selected organisation through a secure live API connection. Data is transmitted automatically, removing the need for manual exports, spreadsheets, or recurring reports.

Each data consumer receives only the information required for their specific use case. This could include anonymised booking data, usage statistics, or other operational insights - always handled in accordance with your permissions and privacy standards.

Example Integration: The Football Foundation

Many of our customers share booking data with organisations such as the Football Foundation to support funding and compliance requirements. If your facility is required to report to the Football Foundation, linking your account will ensure their standards are automatically met.

To comply with their data requirements:

  • Ensure facility details are fully completed in your Facility Settings

  • Bookers may occasionally see additional questions during checkout, which will appear automatically and require no setup from you
