Multiple occurrence events
If you’re hosting an event that takes place at multiple times or locations—such as a training course offered across several venues—you can easily manage this by using the Multiple Occurrence feature in the system.
Step 1: Enable Multiple Occurrences During Event Creation
Go to your Event View dashboard and click New Event.
Enter the name and description of your event.
Toggle the switch that reads:
“More than one occurrence or location for this event?”
Enabling this option will hide the standard date/time fields, allowing you to manage multiple occurrences individually later.
If you also require participant registration, toggle the second switch:
“Additional Participant Information Required?”Any registration form linked to the event will apply to all its occurrences, so ensure the fields are suitable for every instance.
Click Submit to create the overall event.
Step 2: Add Event Occurrences
Once the main event has been created:
Locate the event in your event list and select it.
Click the green New Event Occurrence button.
Fill in the occurrence-specific details such as:
Name
Start/End Dates and Times
Maximum Capacity
Price
Location or site
Visibility and booking settings
Click Submit to save the occurrence.
Repeat this process for each date, time, or location where the event is taking place.
Step 3: Duplicate for Efficiency
After creating your first occurrence, you’ll have the option to duplicate it. This is ideal if multiple instances are identical or only require minor changes (e.g. different dates or venues).
