Refund and Cancellation Options Explained

Payment Method Notes

  • Stripe payments are refunded automatically to the original card.

  • Bank transfer, card, or cash payments must be refunded manually in the same format outside of Pitchbooking.

Partial refunds can only be processed for one booking at a time.

Accessing Refund and Cancellation Tools

  1. Tick the booking(s) on the left-hand side of your bookings table.

  2. Click the ‘Cancel/Refund Bookings’ at the top of the screen (you may need to scroll).

Refund and Cancellation Types

Full Refund

  • Refunded in full.

  • Option to cancel the booking and make the slot available again.

  • Select a cancellation reason.

  • (Optional) Notify the booker via email.

  • Click ‘Cancel & Refund’.

Partial Refund

  • Applies to individual bookings only.

  • Enter a custom refund amount.

  • Choose to cancel or just refund.

  • Select a reason and (optionally) notify the booker.

  • Click ‘Cancel and/or Refund’.

Cancel Only (No Refund)

  • Cancels the booking without issuing a refund.

  • Suitable for policy breaches or rescheduling requests.

  • Select ‘No Refund’, then confirm cancellation.

  • Choose a reason and click ‘Cancel Without Refunding’.
