Booking Modifiers

Booking modifiers allow you to add specific conditions or options to bookings when placing a booking. Special pricing groups can then be attached to these groups (e.g. reduced pricing for youth bookings).

To create a new booking modifier:

1. Open the Booking Modifier Creation Window
   Navigate to the relevant section of the admin panel and click Create a New Booking Modifier.

2. Fill in the Required Fields
   Complete the following mandatory fields:

   • Booking Modifier Name: Enter a clear and descriptive name for the modifier

   • Booking Modifier Type: Select the appropriate type from the dropdown (e.g., Event, Age Range).

   • Facilities Where Booking Modifier Applies: Choose the facilities where this modifier will be applicable.

3. Set Visibility to Bookers
   Use the toggle switch to control whether this modifier is visible to bookers on the public booking site:

   • Visible (ON): Bookers can see and select this modifier during booking.

   • Private (OFF): Only facility managers can apply the modifier manually.

4. Restrictions

   • Restrict the duration of the bookings with the specific modifier

   • Restrict the number of facilities which can be booked with a modifier

Once the booking modifiers have been created, email the desired pricing details to support@pitchbooking.com for it to be attached.
