Creating and Managing Facility Closures

Edited

Use Closures to block out specific periods of time and/or specific slots on your calendar. This can be especially useful to close your facilities over bank holidays, for scheduled maintenance or anticipated adverse weather conditions.

Creating a Closure will completely block any and all booking access to the day/time you set, both on pitchbooking.com for the public and also in the Manager Dashboard too.

Accessing Closures

  1. Go to Facilities > Closures in the left-hand menu.

Creating a New Closure

  1. Click New Closure.

  2. Fill out the form:

    • Select Facility.

    • Choose whether to no to include any overlapping facilities

    • Closure Name (e.g. Pitch Maintenance).

    • Apply When: Choose Continuous, Daily, Every Week, or Always.

    • Set Start/End Date & Time.

    • Add any Exclusions where necessary

    • Restriction Type: Select Closure.

    • Live Now?: Toggle on if ready to activate.

  3. Click Create.

All slots within the selected period will be unavailable for bookings.

Managing Closures

  • Use Search or sort columns to find a closure.

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.

  • Click Delete to remove.

  • Use the Current and Expired Closure tabs to switch views.
