Applying Promo Codes in Manager Dashboard and Point of Sale

Managers can apply Promo Codes to eligible existing unpaid bookings and Point of Sale orders.

To apply a Promo Code to an existing booking:

1. Go to the Bookings table.

2. Select the booking.

3. Click Record Payment.

4. Enter or select a code in the Promo Code field.

5. Click Apply.

6. Check that the discount is correct.

7. Record the payment as normal.

You can remove the Promo Code from the same section at any time before the payment is recorded.

The Promo Code field is available only when all of the following conditions are met:

• One booking is selected.

• The payment status is Unpaid.

• The booking is a standard reservation or Point of Sale booking.

• Any invoice linked to the booking has been voided.

• No other active Promo Code is already attached to the booking.

If the Promo Code field is not displayed, check the booking status, payment status and invoice status first.

Note: Promo Codes cannot be added through this Manager workflow after a booking has been paid.

To apply a Promo Code during a Point of Sale transaction:

1. Open Point of Sale from the Manager Dashboard.

2. Add the required products to the order.

3. Select the customer, where required.

4. Use the Promo Code field to find an active code.

5. Select the code and click Apply.

6. Review the discounted total.

7. Complete the payment as normal.

Only active, currently valid Promo Codes are available for selection. The selected products and customer must also meet the rules configured for the Promo Code.

To remove the discount before payment, click Remove beside the applied code.

Selecting Clear for the order will also remove the Promo Code.
